Thought of the moment

It's safe to say that you've got the wrong job when you hope for something bad to happen to you so you don't have to do it anymore.

on my need for this blog.

I want to start by giving a bit of background on myself and what this blog will be about. I'm Josh. I'm a husband to my awesome wife, a father to my adorable son. I'm a leftist Christian punk rock hippie. I have a BA in studio art (photography). I'm intelligent, capable, opinionated, and a little egotistical. I'm also passionate, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I try to live by my morals and change the things I can in my little corner of the world, even those that seem insignificant to most people. I believe in caring for others, my community and my world.

Now for some info about this blog. I've felt compelled to start this for some time in order to address my utter disappointment in some of my choices, the path those choices have forced me down and (most heavily) my current job and how completely intolerable it is to me. Hopefully this will be a short lived blog and I will make some new choices and get into a better work situation. Until then I will post my thoughts and feelings here. It will be whiny at times. It will be negative. It will be my way of getting out the thoughts and feelings that sometimes oppress me.
